5:53 p.m. Approval of February 3rd, 2022 minutes ACTION
Margery motioned to approve the February minutes. Lauren seconded the motion, and it passed
unanimously.
5:54 p.m. Continue review of Library Program Policy. Review recording studio policy.
Jennifer noted the need to consider audience while writing policies, so policies are easily read and
understood by all SBPL patrons.
The committee made final edits to the Library Program Policy, including clarifying the difference
between library hosted programs and programs run by patrons.
Lauren made a motion to forward the draft, with edits, to the full board for approval. Margery
seconded the motion. Then motion passed unanimously.
6:26 p.m. Other business
The committee worked on the Recording Studio Policy, focusing on how to rent the studio to patrons
ages 9 - 17.

7:01 p.m. Additions or deletions to the posted agenda
The committee briefly discussed the open seat on the Library Board of Trustees and the need to find
someone willing to serve on the Foundation and do fundraising.
Members also discussed the possibility of having students serve on the board as advisory members.
