NARRATIVE:
On 01/01/2022 at approximately 3:52 PM, multiple Officers were dispatched to a Swift Street residence
for a report of an assault in progress. The caller reported that a female was inside the residence
threatening people with a knife. Prior to the officer’s arrival the female was restrained by people in the
residence and the knife was taken away.
Investigating officers determined that Kozlowski arrived at the Swift Street residence with the intention
of confronting the home owner about the overdose death of her boyfriend which had occurred in June
of 2021. Kozlowski entered the residence without permission and confronted the occupants. During the
confrontation Kozlowski damaged property in the home and brandished a fixed blade kitchen knife. One
of the occupants of the home was able to physically restrain Kozlowski and disarm her, no one was
seriously injured during this incident.
Kozlowski was arrested and lodged at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Center. Kozlowski was
arraigned in Chittenden Superior Court – Criminal Division on January 3rd, 2022 on charges of Simple
Assault and Unlawful Trespass.
