On 11/01/21 at 0647 hours South Burlington Police officers responded to the area of Williston
Road near Patchen Road for a reported accident between a motor vehicle and a bicyclist.
Officers arrived on scene and met with the bicyclist who was identified as a 41-year-old male
who had been crossing Williston Road. The bicyclist was struck by a westbound vehicle whom
failed to stop and fled the scene of the accident. The bicyclist was transported to the UVM
medical center by the South Burlington Fire Department for treatment of their injuries.
This incident is still under investigation and the involved vehicle is possibly a dark colored BMW
3 series sedan with front end damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact South
