NARRATIVE:
On the listed date and time South Burlington Police responded to 1197 Williston Road for a report of a
stabbing. The initial investigation determined that the male victim was outside of the building with a
female associate. The male victim advised that they were approached by a male who they did not know
and a physical confrontation ensued. During the physical confrontation the male victim reported that he
was stabbed, one time in the torso.
The male victim was transported to UVMMC, underwent surgery, and is expected to recover fully. The
suspect in this case was only described as being a male, possibly 6’0” tall, thin build who was wearing a
dark hoodie. No other information was developed during the initial investigation.
Detectives are collecting video evidence and are looking for any potential witnesses that were in the
area on the night in question. Anyone with information pertaining to this case is asked to contact Det.
