Rogers Jr. 26 Randallstown, MD DISPOSITION: Lodged with the Department of Corrections for lack of $25,000 bail NARRATIVE: On 07/20/2021 South Burlington Police were called to a local hotel where suspected cocaine had been found in a room. The investigation identified the former occupants of the room as Cortez Jerome Campbell (26 YOA) and Michael T. Rogers Jr. (26 YOA) both of Maryland. Campbell and Rogers were guests of the Williston Road hotel and requested to change rooms, during their move the duo left behind a quantity of cocaine which was located by housekeeping staff. Investigating officers were able to identify a vehicle on the property also belonging to Campbell and Rogers. The vehicle was seized along with the hotel room which Campbell and Rogers had moved into. Investigators executed Court ordered Search Warrants on the vehicle and room mentioned and seized a total of 298 grams of cocaine during the investigation. The cocaine was packaged in both ounce and fractional gram quantities which is highly suggestive of drug trafficking. The cocaine has an approximate street value of $28,000 in the Greater Burlington area. Campbell and Rogers were lodged with the Department of Corrections for lack of $25,000 bail. #END#
