NARRATIVE:
On 03/16/2021 at approximately 9:30 PM, an individual entering the Anchorage Inn was the
victim of an assault and robbery. The victim was approached from behind by the suspect who
proceeded to take several items by force before fleeing the area.
The suspect was described as a white male dressed in dark clothing, approximately 5'10"-6' tall,
with a slim build.
Witnesses in the area reported seeing a male fleeing the area of the hotel on foot towards
Market Street around the time the robbery occurred. Surveillance footage from area businesses
is being gathered and investigators are following up on leads.
Anyone with any additional information is asked to contact the South Burlington Police.
Additionally, any businesses that have surveillance footage in the area and think they may have
captured suspicious activity around the time the robbery occurred are asked to contact police.
