BRIEF NARRATIVE: On 08/03/2018 at approximately 09:58 PM while on routine patrol a South Burlington
Police officer observed a vehicle traveling with a broken windshield, a defective equipment violation on Airport Drive in the City of South Burlington.
A traffic stop was conducted and the operator was identified as Robert Sears, 40, of St. Albans, VT. Further investigation releveled Sears’ Driver’s License to be criminally suspended in the State of Vermont. Sears was issued a citation to appear in court on 08/30/2018 at 08:30 AM to answer to the charge of DLS.
A passenger in Sears’ vehicle was identified as Jeremy Bushey, 28, of Sheldon, VT. Bushey was found to have multiple warrants for his arrest. Bushey was taken into custody and ultimately lodged at the Chittenden County Regional Correctional Facility on the warrants.
