Whipple, Chief of Police SOUTH BURLINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE INCIDENT TYPE: Unlawful Mischief DATE/TIME: 06/29/2018 09:10 AM INCIDENT #: 18SB007153 INVESTIGATING OFFICER: Officer Aaron Fay APPROVING SUPERVISOR: Sergeant Soychak PHONE: 846-4111 FAX: 846-4102 BRIEF NARRATIVE: On 06/29/2018 at approximately 09:10 AM the South Burlington Police Department responded to 435 Quarry Hill Road- The Residence at Quarry Hill for a vandalism complaint. Upon arrival Officer’s observed a large window pane that had been shattered. Through a brief investigation it was determined that a male identified as Terry Chrispin, 23, of Burlington, VT had broken the window in anger. It was discovered that Chrispin had been in a verbal argument with his girlfriend in a vehicle while in the area. This angered Chrispin and so he both punched and kicked the window pane, causing it to shatter and then fled the scene prior to Officer’s arrival. Chrispin was later located and interviewed and admitted to the above described information. Chrispin was subsequently issued a citation to appear in court on 07/24/2018 at 08:30 AM to answer to the charge of Unlawful Mischief.
