BRIEF NARRATIVE:
On June 16th, 2018 at 0041 hours the South Burlington Police stopped a motor vehicle on Williston Road in front of the Staples Plaza. The vehicle, operated by 40 year old Jamie Scavotto of South Burlington, had been
traveling well above the posted limit on Main Street as it approached the border between Burlington and
South Burlington. Scavatto was given several field sobriety tests at the scene of the stop. Scavotto refused a
road side PBT. An investigation determined Scavotto had been operating his vehicle under the influence of an
intoxicating substance. He was transported without incident to South Burlington PD for processing and issued
a citation to appear in court on July 3rd, 2018 to be arraigned on the charge of DUI number 1.
