INCIDENT TYPE: DUI #4 and DLS
BRIEF NARRATIVE:
On 05/26/2018, at approximately 1924 hours, South Burlington Police were made aware of a male possibly
drinking and driving. A South Burlington Police Department Officer observed the vehicle associated with the report on Patchen Road in South Burlington. Police initiated a field contact with the vehicle on Riverside
Avenue in Burlington and found Matthew Wilbert, 33, of Burlington to have been operating the vehicle while under the influence. Wilbert refused a roadside breath test. Wilbert was arrested and processed for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and driving with a suspended license as he failed to have an interlock device in his vehicle. Wilbert was released on a citation to appear in court on 05/31/2018 to answer to the aforementioned charges.
