INCIDENT TYPE: Unlawful Trespass (two counts)
BRIEF NARRATIVE: On 5/14/18 at approximately 1439 hours, officers from the South Burlington Police
Department were dispatched to a local hotel for a trespass complaint. The hotel staff advised a male who had previously been trespassed was back on the property. Upon police arrival, the male was gone. Police were
able to locate the male suspect, Hyman Jack, 35 years old transient of Burlington, at another hotel, which he had also been trespassed from.
Jack was taken into custody and was released on conditions to include not to go to motel living areas without being a registered guest. From May 1, 2018 to May 14, 2018, Jack had been directly involved in 12 incidents involving motels in the Burlington area that resulted in 7 trespass notices being issued for those local hotels.
Jack was issued a citation to appear in Court for May 15, 2018 at 0800 to answer to the charge of two counts of Unlawful Trespass.
