INCIDENT TYPE: Arrest on Warrant
BRIEF NARRATIVE:
On April 9th, 2018 at approximately 1:25 am, South Burlington Police Officers were investigating an unrelated
incident at a local motel in South Burlington, Vermont. Through this investigation, Police Officers discovered there was an individual currently staying at the establishment with an outstanding arrest warrant for the charges of Excessive Speed, DUI, Eluding a Police Officer and Gross Negligent Operation. The individual was identified as James M. Dunlavey 63 y/o of Brooklyn, NY. Police Officers located Dunlavey in his motel room and he was ultimately taken into custody for his outstanding warrant. Dunlavey was lodged at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility with a $1000 bail.
