Gerry Eno DATE/TIME: April 12th 2018 at 07:00 hours INCIDENT TYPE: Possession of Child Pornography BRIEF NARRATIVE: On March 20th 2018, the South Burlington Police received a complaint from a local business that an employee, Alan Gott (69 y/o of Georgia VT) had questionable material on a laptop and hard drive to include stories of children engaged in sexual conduct. A warrant was granted and subsequent search of the devices was conducted. During the search numerous files of child pornography were located. On April 12th, the South Burlington Police with assistance from the Vermont Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Vermont State Police conducted a search warrant at Gotts residence. That same day, Gott was arrested without incident and transported to the South Burlington Police Department for processing. He was transported to the Superior Court of Vermont where he was arraigned on charges of both felony and misdemeanor possession of child pornography.
