NARRATIVE:
On December 22nd, 2018 at approximately 2:00 PM staff from the Target retail store reported having
received a bomb threat. Responding Officers took measures to insure safety and secured the scene.
Investigators deemed that the store was safe and also learned that other Target retail locations in the
region had received similar threats. The investigation into the origin of the threats is ongoing. At the
time of this release the store has reopened. The South Burlington Police offers thanks to the citizens
affected by this incident for both their cooperation and patience.
