The South Burlington Board of Civil Authority Held a Special Meeting on Saturday, 7 March
2020, at 10 a.m., in the Conference Room, City Hall, 575 Dorset Street:
MEMBERS PRESENT: D. Kinville, City Clerk; P. Taylor, H. Riehle, R. Nowak, T. Barritt, M. St.
Germain
ALSO PRESENT: none
1. Agenda Review:
No changes were made to the Agenda.
2. Instructions on exiting the building in case of an emergency:
Ms. Kinville reviewed emergency instructions.
3. Comments & Questions from the public, not related to the Agenda:
No comments or questions where received.
4. Mark absentees into check-in book
The members broke into groups of 2 and worked where one read the name of the voter and
which ballots they voted and the other member recorded the ballots in the check-in book.
Once the ballots were marked in the check in book, they were sealed and placed in vault to
deliver to the polls on election day. These ballots would not be brought to the check-in table to
process on election day but directly to the election workers who would open them and place
into tabulator.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:55 a.m.
