Minutes
Meeting Convened at 5:35 PM
1. Welcome
2. Instructions on exiting building in case of emergency.
3. Agenda Review: Additions, deletions, or changes in order of
agenda items. There were no changes in the agenda.
4. Comments and questions from the public not related to the
agenda: There were no comments from the public.
5. Discussion of role and scope of Committee: Ideas exchanged
on what the committee can and/or should do, limits due to
lack of staff/resources, where can the committee have the
greatest positive impact. “Must define mission to get to vision.”
6. Discussed specific project possibilities: Comprehensive list
of SB businesses, employers and employees. Currently does
not exist. Committee will explore this possibility. Further discussion on how to create/obtain pertinent data.
Discussed block chain opportunities. John explained block
chain application process. Will look at what data can be
found and report back to Committee.
7. Michael Albertson, Committee Clerk: Announced that he will
not be able to serve as the EDCs liaison to the TDR
Committee as his schedule will not allow him to attend TDR committee meetings. Committee discussed alternatives. Jacob
West volunteered to cover the next TDR meeting. More
permanent solution to be discussed at the February meeting.
8. City Comprehensive Plan: Committee will review the Comprehensive Plan at the February meeting.
9. Other Business: No other business before committee.
10. Adjourn: The Committee adjourned at 7:01 pm. Next meeting scheduled for February 25, 2019.
