HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 07/30/1969BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING JULY 30, 1969 The Board of Selectmen held a special meeting at the Middle School Library, Dorset Street, South Burlington, on Wednesday, July 30, 1979, at 10:10 P.M. following an Executive Session held jointly with the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Mr. Behney, Chairman, called the special meeting to order. MEMBERS PRESENT Chairman Behney, Walter Nardelli, Gregory Premo and Raymond E. Stearns. MEMBERS ABSENT Vincent J. D'Acuti OTHERS PRESENT Richard Ward, Zoning Administrator. JOHN R. GINGRAS - USE VARIANCE APPEAL - SWIFT STREET It was moved by Raymond Stearns and seconded by Mr. Nardelli "that the Gingras appeal be forwarded to the Town Attorney for a legal opinion with reference to Sub-paragraph 2 of Section 13.60 of the revised South Burlington Zoning Ordinance of February 28, 1964 as amended." The vote was unanimous in favor of the motion. ROBERT AND BEATRICE COLLINS - USE VARIANCE APPEAL - SHELBURNE ROAD It was moved by Mr. Stearns, and seconded by Mr. Nardelli "to accept the Use Variance as approved by the Zoning Board of Adjustment, with the understanding that this use variance is granted to Robert and Beatrice Collins and such variance terminates upon transfer of property title." The vote was unanimous in favor of the motion. It was then unanimously agreed that the Town Attorney should also check the legality of this addition made by the Board.
