South Burlington Planning Commission approved or denied the
request of James Harvell, agent for Friendly's
for Site Plan Approval under Section 11_7n
of the South Burlington Zoning Regulations based on the
following findings:
1. TRAFFIC ACCESS- adequate
2. CIRCULATION AND PARKING - adequate
3. LANDSCAPING & SCREENING - adequate

1. The Shelburne Road curb cut is to be clearly designated as
an entrance only, v..,ith appropriate signing and directional
arrows; the IlicIntosh Avenue curb cut is to be for two-way traffic.
2. An $8,000 landscaping bond is to be posted.
3. Curbing is to be extended for the full frontage along MicIntosh
P,,yenue, applicant shall meet with the City Manager and conform to
all his recommendations regarding curb, driveway, and utility
work'as outlined in his memo of January 7, 1977.
4. Lighting fixtures shall not glare on adjacent property and
highway as determined b,, the City Engineer.
5. Bonds sufficient to guarantee the closing of curb cuts and
the installation of new curbs shall be posted.
