HomeMy WebLinkAboutCU-94-0000 - Decision - 0410 Shelburne RoadSTATE OF VERMONT COUNTY OF CHITTENDEN CITY OF SOUTH BURLINGTON DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT On the 12th day of September 1994 the South Burlington Zoning Board of Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Larkin Realty, Ken Barlow agent, Lake Champlain Radio Corporation, 410 Shelburne Road based on the following facts and findings: 1) The applicant proposes to operate a radio studio (approximately 1600 square feet) in conjunction with existing general office use. The proposed use requires that a roof mounted antenna be erected at a height not to exceed forty-five (45) feet. 2) The applicant submitted that the proposed use should not have any greater impact than previous user (Chittenden County Sheriff's office). Only five employees are planned. 3) The height of the antenna is required in order to clear height of existing trees and draw signal from across the lake. 4) Character of area not affected, radio studio located in adjoining building and off Joy Drive. 5) No impact of City facilities are expected. Proposed use should have lesser impact.
