DECISION AND FINDING OF FACT
On the 14th day of June, 1993, the South Burlington Zoning Board of
Adjustment heard evidence regarding the appeal of Rice High School,
Ronald Stankevich, 99 Proctor Avenue based on the following facts
and findings:
1) Applicant proposed to grade an area of approximately 1.5 acres
an develop a soccer field which is considered a change to a
conditional use.
2) Students at Rice High School are presently using Farrell Park,
having their own field should cut down of evening peak hour traffic
flows.
3) Field is located far enough from residential area not to pose
a noise problem.
4) Recreational use, no structures involved, no adverse impact on
municipal facilities.
5) Addition of a soccer field should not alter the character of
the area.
