HomeMy WebLinkAboutBATCH - Supplemental - 0010 Patchen Road (3)Motion: That the South Burlington City Council approve the conditional use application of James Meunier, 97 Elmwood Avenue, Burlington, Vermont permitting a taxi dispatch office in conjunction with other business uses at 10 Patchen Road, according to the proposal of record, based on the following findings and stipulations: Findings_ 1 - the proposed use is consistent with the health, safety and welfare of the City of South Burlington and standards 2, 3, and 4 of Section 5 of the Interim Zoning Regulations. 2 - The proposed use is consistent with standards 1 and 5 based on the evidence submitted by the applicant. Stipulations That there will be no more than two cabs operating from this location. All safety problems have been taken into consideration regar3ing all structural chanties that might have to be implemented in order to use all available space on the main f3,tor. Where walls might ha -re to he torn down, steel I—boams will he put in place to guarantee safety to occupants and clients. The first step calls for the moving of the present kitchen to the room directly overhead. An outdoor stairway will have to be erected on the east center of the building as an exit for the apartment on the second floor. An 8' extention is desired on the north face of the I building connecting the existing porch with the garage, and allowing for an appealing entrance. This proposed entrance would lead into a foyer with two rest rooms in the direct center of this addition. This addition would allow us to have two spacious viewing rooms.
